spark plug hole stripped

ok i took out the plugs for replacement and found
two of themhad been cross threaded.
what can i do to fix this?

you'll need to get a helicoil to fix it. they're available at most autopart stores.

The proper way to fix it is to take the head to a machine shop and re thread the hold. But the helicoil should work fine

Well at least you don't have to take the bitch off.

Its a cheap ass fix, but it works. I did it for an intake manifold once. I did not feel good about it at the time, but it has lasted 10,000 miles so far.
