    Remote Turn-on wire

List of different sources to be tapped for Remote Turn-on wire?

I'm trying to find a source in my CRX so i can hear what it's like with a 12 in the car. It would help me to decide if i have enough power or not.

btw, it's a stock headunit. I would love to find a source in the rear hatch somewhere.

Just found out that using the fuse is the worse of all.. induces noise into the audio components...

I managed to splice into the Antenna wire. Thanks for the help

If it's only temporary you could link the remote and +12V on the amp. When i got my amp and sub i linked them with a piece of wire and disconnected the wire when i wasn't using it to avoid killing my battery - just another idea.

Don't tell anyone but I'm a lazy bastard that's too lazy to run my remote wire so I hooked it to my taillight. Turn on the parking lights, there's my power, turn them off and there goes my power.

al you need to do is set a custom switch somewhere in the interior and hook the remote on one side and hook the other side to a constant 12v source, no noise there.

Can't go wrong with Alpine. I'm in love with my headunit it make my infinity 6.5 sound like subs. I don't get the big vibrations but I can feel it in the drivers seat.
I'm your local R&D nut. Fabracting, welding, tuning and breaking my stuff so you don't have to.
