    legend rear bumper

hey I am have been searching and cant seem to find, that black accord that has the legend trunk, tails, and bumper on it. But maybe someone already knows, I want to put that rear bumper on my car. does the cover fit on the accord bumper, or do I have get the whole rear bumper and cover? the legend is also wider, how much wider? I am planning on shaving my trunk and I want the license plate in the bumper.

that wasnt a legend rear bumper. just the legend center taillight piece where the stock 3gee license plate goes cus he moved his license plate to the bumper. i believe he used an older model pontiac transport van rear and sideskirts.

The JDM Vigor is the same car as the accord coupe but with that rear end. I priced the rear center tail and was trying to get the licence plate mounting hardware because you just cut into the accord bumper. But for some reason the part number for the frame wont come up.

no the legend bumpers are wider by 4 inches. btw, those sideskirts and the rear lip are off an older model pontiac transport minivan if that's all you're going for. don't trouble yourself of getting the JDM vigor bumper and trunk piece too much. the vigor here in the US is not the same as the JDM vigor. the vigor has been around there for a long time before it ever came to the US. they probably have had 4 generations of it already while it only was available here in the US one time. one of those must have been similar to the 3geez accord that's why that trim piece and bumper fits.

If I remember correctly, in Japan, the Vigor is/was part of the Accord family, along with the Ascot, Aerodeck and so on. You can look it up on the timeline of the Honda Japan website. You'll need babelfish to translate it, but it's a real cool site.

Did he just use a section of the 86-87 bumper for his front lip? It kinda looks that way.

here, i hope you can see that the bumper is the same as 3geez except the licence plate mount. you can make the mount ourself if you are good with fiberglass.

Yeah as i said earlier its just an insert and you can cut your existing bumper to accomodate for the plate holder. I would be able to order them new but the part numbers dont work. If you can find someone over seas to ship it back im sure it wouldnt be to bad.

I was gonna do the tail light conversion but i dont want to hack up the rear xenon bumper to fit the licence plate holder in there.

2nd gen Integra rear bumpers are like that, but I don't know if they'll fit perfectly.

There is no kit i got the honda part numbers from the JDM Honda Catalog but the frame part dont work so i cant help with that. Yasu even tried it and he understands the code so i dont know how else to get it rather than importing a used one.

Not Honda in the US iv already tried to get JDM B20A part numbers to work. The only was is if it was on a USDM car which it wasnt to my knowledge. Im sure someone overseas maybe from this board could help cause shipping it wouldnt be bad and you can get all the parts instead of piecing it together.
