need help with gauge

I un hooked the speedometer cable and it wont go back on. also the fuel guage wont work. Please help

a little more info would be helpful. where did you disconnect them from?

its kinda hard to get the speedo cable back connected ..... you have to get it almost into place and reach your hand back there and connect it .... and about the fuel guage .... did you take the little needle off ?

ok more info. the only gauges that do work are the temp and tach. i disconnected it from the speedo cable. and by the way, no i didnt take off the needle.
