New member here....Saturn owner

Hey hows it going ? Ive been checking out the board for a couple weeks now and decieded to sign up and start posting, I know a few people from where I live that post here so thats how I found my way on.

I dont really know much about 3geez or any other Honda for that matter. I do know a decent amount of general car stuff, but Im into Saturns so I know more about them then anything.

I own a 97 Saturn SL2 and a 02 Saturn SL2, My 97 Saturn has been gutted and was kinda my weekend warrior, I had alot of fun in it, it was reasonibly quick and I had run a best of [email protected] at the track before some other mods which I never got a chance to test. Right now my 97 Saturn is in the garage with no motor in it. Im currently trying to save up to build a motor for it for use with a turbo. Here are some pics of it. since the pics I put the subframe back on as well as the front wheels.





My 02 Saturn SL2 I have only had since Febuary and being the poor teenager Iam I dont have much done to it. So far I have put an Intake on it, bored my throttle body, gutted the pre-cat in the exhaust manifold and modified the motor mounts. Last time I was at the track with It I ran three 16 flats in a row with my best being a 16.016 so Im right on the edge of 15's and with a little more work I should be there. well here are a couple pics of the car...

i dont like saturns too much, i usually laugh when i see riced out saturns on the street, because all the kids that I KNOW who mod saturns dont actually know anything about cars. and they think their cars are fast because they are manuals, and have spoilers or new pipes...
but anyway, welcome to 3Geez, and i hope you prove me wrong about saturn modders.

Yeah that shit bugs me to...and thats how most of Saturns I see around where I live are "riced out" pieces of shit with idiots owners. And I dont think my cars fast...I know its not fast

ha, i saw a saturn win one of the full mod classes in an auto cross my uncle was in the other weekend. thing looked slow on the course but won by over a sec (on a 45sec course). oh well, welcome aboard, check a few days back and someone was also fussing about how saturns are steriotyped as cheap and slow.

Hey thanks for the welcome, Yes I do know Mario and Terry, hardly know them though, we haven't hung out much. Other people I know on here from Redding is Delano (300700'88lx-i) and Justin (97Redlxescort)
