    Blue Armor Coated Headers

    Im thinking about getting Headers for my car and i want to know if the Blue armor caoting will get hot and come off like black headers do? i dont think it will cause it said that the blue caoting is a POLISHED 2000F metallic-ceramic coating, but i just wanted to make sure! thanks

    That black stuff is cheap paint to keep it from rusting while in the warehouse. Ceramic coating will not come off easily. I say go for it, it is worth the extra money.

    So your saying that the blue ceramic coating usually wont get hot and burn off?

    Its baked on at a higher temp than your engine will run at. ceramics are kick ass. And no it will not burn off.

    The ceramics are coated inside and out to prevent rusting out from the inside.

    are you sure the insides are coated?, I work at a shop that does ceramic coating, and i've never seen the inside of a header coated.

    yeah. they deffinatly coat the inides of headers and intakes

    That is what I did with mine. But don't plan on having the paint stay perfect or look nice, but hey I sayed about 200 bucks not getting the DC header.
