Rims...GunMetal...Silver...Black...what to get
Yea im lookin to get some rims in the next few weeks. I have a 2 door white LXI. I wanna know which color 17's i should get and what design (# of spokes) looks good. Gun Metal, silver, black...i need some help deciding, post yalls pics and help me out here. Thanks :super:

don't listen to mike....get gunmetal, gunmetal on white is awesome, and on a 3g i'd look for rims without too many spokes, something like 6-10 spoke
im looking into some 5/6 spoke rims for my hatch... i will be probably getting the gunmetal/anthracite/silver finish... not sure which... but my car is blue... and i had gunmetal on there before and it looked really nice
Get big Blingin PLATES with spinners!!!!!!!! j\p. nice Sporty ones. not those Thin spoke ones, if ur getting Gunmetal, get it with a Dish lip, and polished Lip. White on white. is a little iffy. Black one white isnt to bad, though it also needs a polished lip. and other Color rims besdies Crome, White, Black, gunmetal. justs looks Ghey IMO.

helll yeah gunmetal [black] looks sick on any color car. especialy white, red and black cars. chrome looks great on black and white cars. i think chrome can be a bit much though. ncie powder coated rims look hella nice too.
my suggestion start looking around ebay.....local shops....online stores......find some rims in your price range and then post the pics here if you need help deciding. the choice is up too you but ive been pulled between choices and posting here helps as the tie breaker....heh heh....anyways....good luck and hope to see some pics. i see your a newbie so you may not know how to post pics.

Chrome makes me think of Big Tymers or some types of "POSERS", I like the gunmetal with white. Black is not good with white. Major contrast and it looks cheezy imo.

I've never liked black rims on any car but there's lots of ppl that do. The appearance of your car is a reflection of you so do whatever you think makes your car look good. Screw everyone else. Since you asked though, I like white wheels on a white car. Gunmetal is too close to black for me.

Pearldrop i dont think anyone builds a car just to fit in or whatever. Yea im gonna get what i like but i asked to see some pics of rims on our cars. Just to get an idea. No need to get harsh.

Pearldrops reply to you was only trying to get you to use your own power to think and decide for yourself, not to just follow the whime and will of others.

Theirs nothing harsh in what he said, just remember you created a thread where you are asking for imput. His reply is harmless and given this whole subjects past, could have been extreamly mean and cruel. We've had some serious fights on the whole wheel color thing. Pearldrop is one of the boards good guys, not a harsh speaker at all.
