    When I move you move...

so I took some time today to bring my car into the shop. I was trying to get ready for the upcoming Oregon meet. i was planning on doing a lot of work but my uncle didnt want to help me and there is only so much i can do by myself. so I did some cleaning of the interior and then started taking panels off. painted them with some fusion.

i still havent gotten around to putting it back in yet. so then onto the next part. noticed my car was sitting kinda awkward so I put her up on the frame machine.

oh yeah, damn sexy! turns out the frame is straight. only off by 5mm. i gotta swap the back two springs and hope that is corrects the tilt. and then some time this week I am gonna try to finish that bondo work I started.

No i didnt get to finish the work today. im gonna try to get around to it sometime this week. as long as its not to busy in the shop. of course it has been busy every day for the last two weeks, so i may never get to it.

ahahaha my car is not quite white. its primer and black. hopefully soon to be just black. the preping i used is what you see in the first picture. first and Final clean. dupont products for refinishing. first clean gets rid of waxes and stuff before sanding and final clean gets the dirt from sanding out. then i just primered and painted. the fusion says you dont have to sand anything though.

thanks kicker, i was gonna ask you about shaving the truck. i need mine done !!!

um real simple you get the car up on the rack like you see there. you slide this big ass sensor beam under the car that is connected to this computer. you place 12 magnets under pre determined points under the car. each magnet has a sensor that gets plugged into the beam. the computer sends a pulse through each magnetic. its starts with two matching points on your car and then measures the rest of the vehicle telling you have far or bent the rest of the frame is. then you have all kindas or locks and bar and chains and pulleys and stuff to straighten the frame back.
