    Yep, So it begins..........

I had to replace my passenger side mirror because when we bought it there was black tape holding it on. Well when i swapped the mirrors out i decided to make sort of proto-type Led Turn signal on the mirror( something like the M3 mirrors) Im almost done and when i get done ill take pictures and post em. Would anyone be interested in some if you liked what you seen. Keep in mind that the LEDS can be any color. I used green.
    Pics shortly............

thats a sweet idea and not to rain on your parade.......heres another option:

My ex g/f bought some m3 style signal mirrors for her 4g and i did a test fit to see how close they are and DAMN. All you would have to do is shave off about 1/4" off the corner of the mounting plate and they'll fit. BOOOYAAA.....

Update: I called a few junkyards and they want 35 a piece for the mirrors. So all in all if you wanna ship your mirrors to me send 50 with it( that will include the stuff i need to do them and shipping back to you)that seems reasonable to me, unless you wana pay 70 for mirrors then an extra 50 for the stuff i need then you can.

Well I ran the wires "underneath" the part that holds the mirror motor and out the same hole the regular wires came from. And i used a resistor for correct power

how difficult was the process? how did you get them wired to coincide with the turn signal? simple small drill bit to make the holes in the cover right? the gears in my brain are turning, that rusty squeeking noise is annoying though!!!

The process wasnt difficult but wasnt easy because of havng to take off the top plastic piece around the mirror. Then not to much roomfor needle nose pliers or your fingers to get them n thecorrect holes. Then lining the holes up correctly. And i am giving ample amount of wire to run to your side turn signal.
