Do you think it is important to have the gasket that goes from the cap to the dizzy? Honda does not carry it (so they told me...?) and I'm thinking of just putting a bead of silicone there. Any input?

i went to order one, and it's still in backorder, so i'm assuming they may just not have it anymore... and yeah, it's just there to keep it dry in there
they still make it and its only a few bucks
i got mine from majestic. it didn't cost me a lot.
i you want a part number for the gasket, PM and tell me which distributor you have.
Alex.
Don, The gasket PN is 30132-PJ0-662 and it shouldnt be more than about 3.50-4.00 bucks
Thanks again, Vinny!
My local Honda dealership is pretty incompetant...I think the guy could'nt find it, so told me it was discontinued.
Don
you happen to go to the coggin in st augustine?
the gaskets are still easy to find i found this web page and they have alot of stuff for our cars that alot of people dont have and its also somtimes even cheaper here. Like my ignitor (ignition module) was $92 bucks at advance auto parts but on here it is $62 bucks so they have some good deals on there the web page is http://www.boozak.com but the link for the distributar gasket is http://catalog.eautopartscatalog.com...ributor+Gasket just thought i would help everybody out but there you go.....
Liquid copper gasket would be an alternative, but for the under $5 range, go OEM.
