    Amp Setup

Alright, so let me get this straight. Say I have 2 Sony XM-280GTX which is a 400w 2chnl amps. So, I would have the front preout goto one and the rear goto the other.. Now this amp has a preamp out and I have a alpine 500w amp for a sub.. So I could have one of the amps crossover to that amp to add a sub. Am I correct about this?

Well if I have a 4chnl amp with no preouts.. Would it be impossible to add another amp if the dec itself only has 2 preouts (f/r)? Or do most 4chnl amps allow you to only send 1 preout to it and send that signal to all 4 channels?

    Thanks

well is the preout on the Sony's filtered? If not then just run the preout to the sub amp, you won't be able to adjust the sub levels though without manually raising or lowering it on the amp, it will just be whatever the front speakers get
