    Question Valve Cover Grommet Question.

Hi, I'm a newbie so please go easy on me.

I have a question about valve cover grommets.......

My old ones have a long rubber shaft, which fits right into the valve cover.

I bought new grommets from the dealer, but these do not have a long shaft at all.

Will these still work? If I put these on, will oil spurt out all over the place since they're shorter?

I hope I'm making some sense here. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Here's a picture of the new grommet:

Yea they should work. If they do leak get some of that liquid gasket stuff. It will dry to a gel and will help more.
I'm your local R&D nut. Fabracting, welding, tuning and breaking my stuff so you don't have to.
