ticking noise

my car is ticking when I push on the gas........this started today
I checked the oil and was kinda low so i added some!
and it happened again.......Im gonna take a better look tomorrow

Sometimes a bad spark plug wire arcking against the head will sound like a ticking but still send enough spark to the plug to ignite with out missing.

I know exactly what your talking about, my car does the same thing...It gets really loud whenever i first turn on the car and gets quieter as i drive, but you can still hear it...i dont know what it could be connected to...ive been looking at it and ive been told it had something to do w/ the manifold but i dunno...let me know if you have figured out what it was

i tried adjusting my valves and from the instructions.... <---me....im sure they r good instructions or whateva, but im a newbie...if its possible, can someone help me w/ this?
