how do i replace one of my lug bolts i stripped i some how weird thing is i dont remember doing it when i put it on but this weekend while taking my wheels off i noticed that one of them was a bitch to take off and when i got the lug nut off and looked at it. it appears to be stipped and the lug bolt is stripped as well how do i fix it
If its a front one then you will need to pull the hub out and press it back in which most people dont have the tools to do it at home. If its a rear then you just pull the drum off and tap it out of the hub and replace it as easy as that.
same thing happened to me. my tire blew out going 90 mph on the freeway. i thought i was 2F2F and then i became 2stranded2worried. me and my crew were going up to a skatepark and we took 2 cars. so as we tried to put on the spare one of the lug bolts broke off. and last weekend when i took my car in for a huge overhaul they fixed it for me. i dont think they charged tho.

Great thanks for the info i think i will endup taking it to like a napa machine shop there is one right by my house.
