CHECK OUT WHAT I JUST ACQUIRED..ALMOST FREE (56K go milk a cow)

Ok as many of you know, if not you will now, i tow cars for a living. especifically whats called a PPI (Private Party Impound). I get called out to remove and impound vehicles that are either abandoned, parked in a firelane, or violated a rule of the parking lot/complex (like having no parking permit). we usually give cars back the next day for a nice small fee. but tonight at 2:30 AM I got called out to tow a honda off a property because it seemed to be abandoned because it was given many many written warnings to be moved. so i go to pick up this honda, which happens to be a 89 prelude Si. when i go to call it in to police as a towed vehicle (required be CA law) they tell me its stolen. DUDE I WAS SO HAPPY TO HEAR THAT! why you may ask? well because when a car happens to be stolen and has been sitting a property for a while we usually get to keep it because the owner either doesnt want to pay the money to get it out of impound or just doesnt want the car back. well check out these pics i took of it. if i get to keep it i get a nice B20 for my 3g. the only prob is that its an automatic and it comes with 251,000 miles on it. WHAT DO YA THINK GUYS???

MAN DO I LOVE MY JOB!!! First it brings me a nice little 3g for me to drive, then it brings me a nice little powerplant for me to add to my 3g. and everything almost for free. if i keep this car i would probably have to pay like 200 to my boss for it. why 200? well because thats what the scrap yard gives us for them to take it. but i think it will be staying for me....that is if we keep it (knock on wood).



THIS SHOULD BE A VERY WELCOMED PROJECT FOR ME!!!! yay! and since my bday is coming up (we actually have to wait 30 days before i can even touch the car.) that will be my present to myself!!! hehehe

[UPDATED PICS OF MY CAR] now do you think it will fit here (oh yeah i painted my valve cover...so i guess i just joined the "painted valve cover" club. it looks kinda orange here but its really red.)

i did think it was kinda weird that the egine leaned back when i first saw it. but i just thought it was the way it sat in the car, like i said i already read that thread about the b20 and the differences. so this car is not going to be kept. anyway snow_man_20, i did find an sei with a red enterior, its actually more like that maroon color but the accents, such as the gauge cluster and the vents and anything else that you can remove easily from the car is painted red!!! people and their rice i tell ya. i just want the cup holders, i guess he/she could not take them out becuase they're still black...hehe.

Hell..Id still get the car for $200...Something to have fun with and take it to the yard yourself and get your money back later...Drive it for a year, keep the miles down on the 3g...

buy the car for 200, then sell it for a higher price. I bet you can get at least 1,000 for the car, and then you will have made 800 to put towards your 3g, or civic. Think business minded here man.

That sucks that they have to pay to get the stolen car back... why not tell the owner where it is and let them drive it home, but If they don't want it then take it. Or leave the car there, wire it with explosives and when the chop shop or the car theif picks it up... blow their skanky nuts and their operation to hell.
