    Post fuel system treatments...

What does everyone think about BG 44K?
I hear a lot of good stuff about it, but I'm still not sure if it is worth the $15 or whatever.
    Has anyone tried it?

And what about that "Outlaw" stuff? It's always on display at AutoZone and Pepboys--It says it's specially designed for compacts...looks too Fast & Furious to me...

I dunno... I only want fuel in my gas tank.

Same goes for oil... but I did add B&M trick shift to my trans fluid.

BTW, speaking of Lotus... I had an Espirit buzz by me while I was in the Corolla.

Personal opinion on the BG 44K, injectors still flowed at their normal rate with not much cleaning and the valves did not look any cleaner (94' Maxima) after 3 tank fulls (with one bottle of additive) and 500 miles later.

The outlaw shit does not boost the points on octane as high as stated, even still it would not help the original engines in the old accord any. If you want to boost you octane level, look for Toulene at a local hobby shop. That will pick up you rear end!

No, if it is used correctly. Although I have only used it with gutted cats or straight/test pipes. In NASCAR, they use a mixture of anywhere from 60% to 75% toulene to gas ratio.

I've tried bb44k and you need to use it twice or more. I got 2 cans free b/c this shop did a ton of work to my car a couple years back. The stuff worked really well. I think SeaFoam worked better though.

This toulene sounds like fun, and the price is not to bad if you buy bulk but isn't this stuff some kind of cleaner

I bought a bottle of BG44K today. I'm gonna put it in tomorrow and I'll let everyone know what I thought about it.

Well, I'm down to a half a tank...
So far, I'm seeing any HUGE changes--just as suspected.
There is, however, a little bit of an increase in throttle response and torque.
I go up a big hill to school everyday and sometimes I have to downshift, or just push the pedal in, but I haven't had to downshift once since. It definately feels like the gas mileage went back up by a few points (thank God!).

    more later.

Well glad you are happy with it. When I get some more money I'm going to try some toulene and if I really like it I will get a 55 gallon drum.

well, the tank is dry now...
    Final word: NOT WORTH IT!
for 18 bucks i coulda bought 12 bottles of STP...although i dont know why i would buy 12 bottles of STP...
anyway, it's about as good as 2 bottles of anything else.
i do enjoy the extra throttle response, though.
