switching from 100mm to 114mm bolt pattern

I recently bought a 88 2dr. coupe with 59,000 original miles. It has the 13" factory alloy wheels with the black center. I'd like to up the wheel size, but with the 100mm pattern I think that limits me to a 14 x 6 factory wheel. Is there a way to swap out the front rotors/hubs and rear drum/hubs to the 114mm size from a 90 and up Accord? That would enable me to use a 15" factory wheel. Or is there a way to swap out the above parts to the newer 5 lug pattern? Which would enable me use the 16" or even 17" factory wheel. There is plenty of newer Accords in a local wrecking yard, with the factory rear discs, and related parts to do the swap (master cylinder, lines etc...). Any help would be much appreciated if anyone has attempted this swap. I could always go to the aftermarket but would prefer factory stuff. Thanks for any input.

    Welcome to the board man
I don't think anyone has ever done it. It would be a lot of work for little payoff. One thing is the hole in the spindels. It is bigger on the newer models so on top of fitting the spindles you would need custom axles. Civic wheels will work just fine.

As for rear discs you can swap them form a 88 or 89 Accord SEi. The rear discs are the same as a 2nd gen integra. The discs and calipers are the same, but you will need some suspension pieces from the SEi. Check out the howto section, the brake swap is listed there.

These are all going for $400-$450 a set on ebay. Do a serch for OE Civic Wheels.

I personally like the third one.

Yeah we have the same bolt pattern as the 88-91 civics/crxs.....bla bla bla. There is a long list of wheels that will bolt to our hubs.
