    full Thermal cat-back exhaust

Thermal engine dynamics full exhaust 2.25" from the catalytic converter back (i can give the cat too, but it ran a thousand miles with a honda running so rich, that it would paint the back of the car black),

4" out in the back, would be relatively ricey tone if I didn't have wild cams, very crisp sound, custom made for, in particular, an 86 accord hatch lx-i. Dimensions hint that it will fit any 86-89 accord.

I'm in upstate NY about an hour south of Syracuse... anyone within a few hours it would be preferable to talk to, but if someone is just interested in the mufler or something, we can talk about that too. It has a hanger at the muffler, made to hang perfectly from the up-let in the rear bumper.

pic 4: piping underneath, clean as a whistle

The only reason I'm getting rid of it is so that I can put in my flame kit (or kits) and I can't do that having a muffler at the end. So I have to re-do the exhaust. I've only driven it 1000 miles with the exhaust, provides great flow, but not an unnecessary 3" like some kids get... 2.25", mandrel-spec angled as you can see. Rust free, I'll clean it up and pressure test it.

If anyone has an offer, just PM me, email me at [email protected], or IM me on AIM when I"m on at obscene hours of the night: pseyfferth

    thanks dudes
    peace

You are getting rid of it to put a flame kit?? Why? In my opinion you have a clean car why rice it out with a flame kit? Too each his own I guess.

Ohh yea....all the Accords hatchback, sedan, and coupe have different exhausts. All 3 have different lengths.

Is it Classic or Stealth style? I have a sedan, so I guess it won't fit, but just wanted to know if you ordered it online from somewhere, and how much it cost new.
Perfection is simply a matter of replacing parts.

sorry dudes no one replied to the thread for the first couple of days so I thought no one was interested. lol

the b20a's in a sad condition rihgt now.

a couple hundred miles ago, it blew a head gasket while we were tuning it, at the top of second gear,

after pulling up off the head and replacing every single gasket (we thought we bent valves so i got valve seals just in case), and especially the head gasket

i've been driving it for a while, we have it tuned decently but still need a dyno,

all of a sudden a bad ticking, but not the top end this time (with the valves how they were loose, it was top end the first time i had a tick long ago)

we put an auto steth up to it and I definitely spun a bearing somewhere between cylinders 2 and 3.

so i have to rebuild the entire motor and I'd like to make true dual exhaust, from where the header goes into 2, and put a fake muffler/cat ont here to make it look legal

the flame kit I want because NO ONE in my town has one. and I mean NO ONE AT ALL. my car runs so rich, if I had the velocity I could throw a flame 20 feet. That wouldn't be considered rice around here. all kinds of kids get body kits and rims and neons and systems first. thats farkin rice. I don't have any of that stuff except for a rear wing, and I plan on getting a front spoiler bumper to match. thats why I kept the wing

next summer I'm going to apply and try all the SCCA stuff up at Watkins Glenn up the road a half hour.

my car F L I E S around the track w/ground control coilovers and tokico struts and heavy wheels

you guys gotta make me offers, I'm not asking anything. send me a PM or email me or IM me

    peace dudes

oh and it's not quiet. so if theres suposed to be a quiet version, it's definitely not that.

and it's 2.25" from the resonator back, hi-flow cat in between, all the pipe is treated (except for the small space between the collector into 1 from the header and the resonator, so that part looks a tad nasty)

and you guys definitely dont want my car. you have NO IDEA the kinds of problems i have haha

Just a heads up on what he is selling. If any of you guys have ever heard me mention a dyno comparision I once saw where a bunch of various cat back systems and custom systems with mufflers were compaired. Well they compaired a car that has very simular tuning and rev range to the 3g. As I've said before the pacesetter was dead last and that the custom dynomax super turbo even with crimp bends was number two for power gains. Guess what setup was number one, yep thermal research. If I still owned a 3g, I'd be all over his set up and I'd cut off the resonator and install the longest 4" round magnaflow muffler as a resonator as I could to quite it down. Of course I have no idea about the sound quality. I came really really close to using 2 thermal research mufflers when I created a custom exhaust system for my G35. Someone's got to buy his setup.
H&R springs revalved Bilstein front struts, koni struts in the rear 195/55-15 Dunlop W-10's Dc Sports header custom cat-back with Dynomax super turbo w/3" Brembo slotted & dimpled rotor's EBC pads
Well, that's what I used to have, wrecked, 7/3/02.

    Now I d

Sorry to hear your having problems hope things get worked out. Personally i thought about the car awhile back when he tried to sell me the engine but i dont want anything older than an 88-89. Not to say anything less cant be in better shape id just prefer to get a newer and the latest edition of the car since they usually have all the bugs worked out by the last years of production. So hope things get better and maybe i will get to meet up with you next summer.
