Wow, a little pricey of a starting bid that he set though. I know the blue book value is just at that number as well.

    Nice car that guy has.

That is just so fuckin nice, I'd almost consider buying it if I was in the market for another car. I love the interior as well.

That car is mint. They can't get much better than that unless one of us has taken it under our wing. I would love to buy it but the bank account won't let me.

    SEi on EBay

Alright. You guys have my full attention now. I've been watching this site for several months, and it pleases me to see that you have already found my Coupe for sale on EBay! I just listed it on Sunday!

Vinny, cup holders? Really! My other transportation is a 2001 Honda Super Hawk (that's a one liter crotch rocket, in case you aren't into motorcycles). It's torquey and has gut wrenching acceleration. I don't have cup holders on that, either. I just seem to be too busy DRIVING!!! to waste time sucking on a pop can.

BTW, this Coupe IS tight. Catch ya 'round.

Oh, and I'm feminine, not masculine.

the reason he said cupholders is because those are the rarest thing on a 3rd gen and were only found in the SEI's

LOL! All this time I was focused on makin' this Coupe purr like a kitten. You've shed some light; I'm cup-holderless, and didn't even know the difference.

Thank you for the welcome. As I mentioned before, I've been following certain threads on this site for quite some time... I've learned a lot, and was all beside myself when I saw that my car had been discovered and that some folks appreciated it.

Gorgeous car, glad to see one well maintained. I especially love the interior, just stunning to see on a 3G. And welcome to the site! Hope it helps you as much as it's helped me.

Thank you very much IWLSF. I feel very welcome. Will y'all let me hang out even after my Coupe is sold?

My newer vehicle is still a Honda - it carries an Acrua badge, but it still has a Honda heart. Now being a banker, a financial geek, I can't see buying new, but I did step up to a '92.

Wow, that rymes. Poet and didn't know it.:lol

    '89 SEi Coupe auction changed

Take a look at this auction again! I just made some changes to the pricing. Know anyone who might be interested in this fine ride? Be sure to tell them. The auction ends this Sunday. It would be real hard to find a nicer SEi anywhere.

And if anyone has cupholders, let me know...

    OK, so here's the deal...

I figured that the car was in the same town, it would be fun to go take it for a test drive. So, I e'd Skyler, pretending to be interested in buying the car. But, I just wanted to drive it once.

Skyler agrees to meet me when she gets off work. When I see the car, it is really mint. No dents in the body work. Paint is flawless. I drive it, and the engine is smooth and the suspension is tight. Basically like new. It needs new front seat leather, and a few cosmetic details. And maybe another 50 hp, but that's another story.

I get back from the test drive, and find Skyler juggling calls from 3 different guys who each want to see it the next morning. Guy#1 doesn't want to be too pushy, but he wants to be first. He makes an appointment for 9:30am. Guy#2 is driving down from Wyoming to see it, and he will be there at 8:30am. Guy#3 is in Denver, and he doesn't mind being pushy, so he says he'll be there at 8:00am. Skyler feels obligated to call back Guy#1 and Guy #2, and this is happening while I'm sitting there.

Some sort of weird force-field enveloped me, and and I pulled out $3000 which miraculously appeared in my pocket, and asked Skyler if I could use her computer. I went to Ebay, pressed "Buy it now" and handed the cash to Skyler. While she was still communicating with Guy#whatever.

Its very hard to come by a nice Sei coupe never mind in a 5spd. I have looked at 3 in the past and they were all junk one of which i was gonna buy but the guy was firm on $3000 and it needed a lot of work. So i dont doubt she got a lot of calls on the car i would buy it if i was closer and had a chance to look it over.
