If you want to find out for sure goto a dealer or parts store and compare the header gaskets between the two. That should tell you if it will bolt up to the head or not.

well the reason i wanted to ask here first was to ask anyone who has done the b18 ect swap, and see if they notice any major differences in the gaskets and the way they bolt up..

B18 has horizontal oval ports and I think are evenly spaced too.

A20 has a more rounded vertical oval port and the 2 center ports are side-by-side.

I could see making an adapter plate if the ports had the same spacing (maybe one from a different SOHC engine would line up.... but things to remember is that our A20 tilts forward in the engine bay... and some headers may not fit because of that... as well as the oil pan and front motor mount differences.

I bet a header for our car costs less then a b-series header does anyway...

Make it stainless if you can... My custom 4-1 is showing signs of rust... But it was just a test header. My next one will be stainless for sure and will be more compact from top to bottom, meaning I plan to group the primaries early on.

I hace compared gasket. It's a no go for sure. The exhaust ports are evenly spaced on bseries and the middle two are bunched together on aseries. you would have to make a new flamge and bend some pipes. not so fun.
