Exclamation Idea, Strut Bar For Carbed 3gee

well, if you didnt know, the strut bars offered for the 3gee will only fit the FI model. but then again, they can fit the carbed engine, but you have to do something to make a low intake box or whatever. anyway, i had been thinking for a while on this. i thought maybe make one that can go around the intake box area and connect to the fire wall. i had seen that on other cars and maybe thats a good idea. something i would try making. well, here is what im talking about. its a pic of an older FWD corolla with a stock type strut brace. its the thing in yellow if you didnt notice.

just thought that would give some ideas on how to compromise for a strut tower brace. something of that type fabed up, maybe nicer looking, would go good under the hood. what do y'all think?

i know that there is the strut bar for the 3gee, but i wasnt wanting to make that small of an intake. that also means taking all the emissions crap off which i dont wanna do, wait yes i do. but im worried about the emissions tests that they are supposedly going to be makeing new restrictions for here in texas? hope not. ok, so theres 2 ideas for the strut bar. i think the real 3gee strut bar would be nice, but the other one is still open. i should just take all the emission hoses off, they realy suck ass!

I think that you could easily do a strut bar setup if you went from each strut to the bulk head (firewall to all you oldschoolers). And it would be like a V shaped one but you would need like steel tubes or bars.
