    A quick stupid question.....

    Being a Honda nut

I bought my first Honda 6 months ago, 89 CRx Si and just a couple weeks ago bought my 89 LXi and just started mod's. I'm doing all modifications myself, however i'am somewhat new to it but I do absolutely love Honda's.

Welcome to the site man. if you want more power its gonna cost ya.

Head work: Port and Polish, Port matching, cc combustion chaimbers, angled valve job, etc... Depends on the $$$. It will make a lot more power with a new cam. I have seen 40HP+ gains on a sohc Civic head. You might as well pick up a new head and work with it so the swap can be done quickly.

Intake manifold: Port and polish, port matching. Ported Throttle Body.

Or you could go with a B16 intake manifold with an upgraded Throttle body with slight modification to fit. Look for user "k-mod" he sells them allready modified.

MSD Ignition or a GM D.I.S (distributorless ignition system) lookup sean, he has the info.

Remote oil filter, cooler and reserve tank.

THe mods went thru a hard time collecting useful imformation for you Newbies and put them in sections called FAQ and a seperate thread so that u guys can get around. But i guess it does not matter cause you guys still ask these questions nonethe less.

    Bolt ons,

DC header, HIgh FLOW cat (IF ur state is emission strict), Dynomax muffer

    CAI

Good Suspension and springs (Konis if u can by any miracle get hold of them)

    Good sticky tires

    Cam REgrind

High Volume pump, Injectors and A-FPR

    hard core would include

Tranny changes from 1st gen integra

Turbo set up from SEAN (if ur really interested and no BS here mind you)

    a Good LSD

Porting and polishing ur head (Like mentioned)

    Piston upgrades

All anything else that i left of.

    NOZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZz hehehehehehehe

DC Sports and Pacesetter make headers for our cars. If you want a Cold Air Intake, you will have to make one. I hear they are fairly simple to make, but I am lazy and not good at making stuff, so I bought one off of another member Info on how to make a CAI can be found here: http://www.87accordlxi.com/coldair/coldair.htm

P.S - Yes I know that it says 87 lxi, but it is the same exact thing for an 87-89.

And in the future, search first.
Thinking about getting a new 3g...
