    transmission doing wierd things

The auto transmission in my 89' honda accord does some pretty wierd things. When i first start it up, before everything gets nice and warmed up, it doesn't want to shift right. If i put it in D3 or D4, then it will just stsay in first. If i put it in "2", it will stay in 2nd, then if i try to slip it to D3 it will just go into neutral. Then once everything gets warmed up a bit, everything works properly. Not that big of a deal, just have to let it warm up a bit before i leave if i plan on doing any higher speed driving. But why is it doing this? Will it get worse if i just ignore it?

Well check you oil level and it most likely needs to be changed. It could be the incorrect oil weight and that is why you have probs at low temps. Well at least you can still drive your car mine has been down for a month.
I'm your local R&D nut. Fabracting, welding, tuning and breaking my stuff so you don't have to.

hmm well if it wasn't dependant on temp then I would have said it was a Throttle-Value cable problem.
