Which of these springs do you recommend most?

Drop zones Lowers front and rear around 2.25 inches

    Chamberlin 2 inch drop springs

Eibach drops about 1.4 inches all corners

    Vogtlang drops about 1.2 inches

Motorsport springs drop the front 2 inches and the rear 1.75

They would go on this car

Thanks for the opinions. I'm getting kyb struts so don't worry about me using stock struts and the price doesn't matter for these springs I just want to know what you guys think would look best. I'm leaning toward the last ones because the front will be lower than the rear and aa you can see the rear of my car is lower than the front probably because of my books and speaker. Thanks for the opinions.

    Neuspeed.
The have the softest of any aftermarket spring, but are still stiffer than stock. I hate Eibachs, they are way too stiff.

Neuspeed or H&R...softest spring rates available, the drop is good (1.5) because you don't need camber kits or anything.

I got told intrax was the softest of the aftermarket springs, and that tokico sport struts would work nicely with them.

Neuspeed. Eibach make the best springs hands down but there rear springs for the 3G are softer then stock. With subs in the back and having friends too it will sag so much with teh Eibachs.

Also note that neuspeed and h&rs have the same spring rates and drop.

I had the Eibachs and they were ok but the H&R's were a much better ride although not as much as a drop. Do yourself a favor and dont by cheap springs because you will hate the way it rides.

The KYB struts available for our cars, the GR2s, are stock replacements and will perform about the same as what the car came with from the factory. For that reason you should be looking at getting softer lowering springs. I like my H&Rs, but dampers make such a huge difference I couldn't tell you how well they would would with stock struts.

Well said Mike!! Stock struts, despite what people say, SUCK! I put on brand new monroe's with my lowering springs and inside a year they were blown and they still rode crappy when they were new. Do yourself a favor and at LEAST get Tokicos (what I'm running now). Do it right the first time...I had to learn that the hard way .

I thought that eibach springs were good?

I have tokicos, and dont really want new shocks, and I also have a system in the back.
I want to lower my car about 1.5" becuase I will probably have the same rims as RobT5580 in the spring.

So what would you reccomend? H & R?

Yes, either that or neuspeed, which have basically been determined to be the same springs (same spring rates and drop).

the INTRAX springs are the softest springs awailable for 3geez. the sping rate for intrax is 247 front 97-257 rear. compare to stock spring rate of 211 front and 117 rear. i ran intrax springs on my car with stock struts and they performed as good as stock setup. exept for stiffer spring.

Sprints are another good soft spring. Even the ones that lower 3" ride really nice on stock struts. And they're really cheap. I've never heard anything but good stuff about them and i've personally had good experiences with them as well.

When I got my H&R (&Koni) setup, it actually turned out fairly even as far as gap is concerned. They've been a really nice moderate spring...stiff enough for me. Low enough as well. I didn't want to be draggin ass. So that's my suggestion....H&R's or Neuspeed. Good luck!
