nope, you have auto and it is your number one problem.
you can change the tranny fluid but i don't think it will help much.

Your transmission is slow and weak, so that is something you will have to deal with and cannot change unless you swap over to a 5 speed.

As for things you can do, try changing spark plugs and wires if they have not been done in a while, or if the wires you have are cheap. Good wires are worth it.

As far as changing the transmission fluid, I wouldn't do it unless you KNOW that it has been maintained. There have been horror stories about autos and changing the fluid in the transmission for the first time in a long time. Basically, the transmission will die within a month. This is because the transmission learns to work with the metal fragments inside of it, and once they are gone, your transmission will not know what do without them.

Ok that is somewhat BS if you rebuild the Auto and put a stall converter in @3200rpm it will keep with a 5speed.It is Cheaper to do a 5speed swap then to build Auto.I put $1500 in to my Auto but that was my choice. But remember if you want to build a auto do your motor first then your auto it takes more Hp for a stall converter to work right.
