    Question:

Ok, I just replaced my tranny, what do I fill it with now? Some cars take tranny fluid, others take a certain oil, what do ours take?

Use 10W30 or Honda makes their own MTF.
I used royal purpule synthetic with a bottle of Lucas in my 5 speed.

Common wisdom or perhaps urban legend suggests that you should not switch to synthetic on a high mile car.

    Hell yea it is.
As long at the driveshaft seals, housing gasket and the end cover gasket are all good there should be no leaking. On a High mileage engine it is not usually a good Idea to change to synthetics because it may start to leak. But with only 4 seals if it starts to leak on the tranny it will be pretty obvious, and not too difficult of a fix.

You want 10W-30 or 10W-40 but that is the best for the climate.
