    parting 88 DX

    Need something, ask. No performance parts, outside of the upgrade to LXi rims and sways.

    yeah dude I got your E-mail and I am interested in the parking lamps, things are kinda hectic with christmas and all going on, but i would like the following items if you have them

    both Parking Lights
    Both frontal wheel wells
    passenger side headlight cover with eyelid (the black plastic thing that goes around it)...

    Is the tranny good? 5-spd or auto?

    Sorry, that particular body panel was bent in by some unknown mf. Unless you are desperate, look somewhere else.

    The 5-sp manual tranny is in good condition. Works well. It is a bear to remove from the car. What are you offering for it?

    By the wheel wells, you mean the plastic inner liners? I have them and will reserve all of the above items for you.

    Neither do I. To do the job, you'll need the pedals (whole cluster?), cables, tranny, shifter and linkage, and probably a few more pieces. This I can supply, but it would take a while (meaning you would have to make it worth my time- $250?). You will also need a new clutch pressure plate and disk (mine is shot). Then all that needs to be shipped.

    I'd figure about $100 for shipping costs alone. Maybe someone else on the list can suggest a reasonable figure for the parts.

    Bottom line, if you are desperate for the conversion parts and are not expecting to get it all for $.02, then I can help. You are probably better off with a local pick-n-pull (unless they don't exist like here in MS).

    Sure, that's the easiest way to part a car! I'll send you an email with contact information. BTW, the valve cover is steel not aluminum.

    Oh, the primary thing I may need are body parts, like a trunk lid because mine is dented, whats the condition of yours? How much rust is on the car? well if u dont post tonight... i may call you Thursday evening (01/28), a trunk lid would be wonderful.. i hate big dents dents!
