Official California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona Meet!

Oh its a meet baby! Its a big one!!

This is the official meet for all of California, Oregon, Washington, and Arizona. The date WILL BE April 16-18. This is the weekend of Kool April Nites Car show. The show starts April 14 and goes until the 18th. For those of you unfortunate ones that do not already have the 2004 STUFF, FHM, or MAXIM calenders (I have all three) April 16 - 18 is a friday saturday and sunday.

This is probably the biggest and coolest event of the year, and as we were discussing during our mini meet, why not get everybody to come down and represent. Unfortunately only cars that are like 78' and older can enter the show, but that doesnt stop us from taking a million parking spots to take pictures. when the Cruz is 'officially' over other cars are allowed to join in the circle. If remember correctly I believe Kool April Nites also marks the official opening of street legal drags, so we should also be able to train on over to the drag strips and show what old school rice is made of!!

Now that an Official Date is set I will accept no excuses You have 5 months to get time off work, save money, and plan your trip. Our meet last weekend was a lot of fun and I would expect only for this meet to be 5 times better.

And yes I have to save money too, because I told Justin and Matt, that if everybody came down, I would buy all the meet and everything for the BBQ!! I dont know what I was thinking when i said that!

if you have any more questions, you can contact me.

5 months and counting! lets make it happen

Hmmm, my friend has family down there, I might go. It will be a 7 hour trip atleast though, we will prolly end up staying the night in the wal-mart parking lot, but I will try to make it.

PS: I will have kicker's car by then, and when I hook up the cold air intake, I'll be ready to take some of you on!

And where might us out of towners stay for the night? I wouldn't mind a motel, but if you have other arrangements I wouldn't mind saving $50.

um, do the people at the drag strips do inspections on vehicles that are going to be running???? cause, um, ya, my radiator is being held up by weadeater wire right now and my battery being held down by a bungee cord.

i'll think about coming to this, i've always wanted to make a road trip down to cali. we'll see how it goes, and i'll talk to my friends and see if they wanna do a road trip.

Well Kicker right now we are having a little difficulty, for reasons we dont need to explain right now, but like i said we have 4 months so we or I shall have a new place to live and everyone is more than welcome to sleep on floors and what not. lol i dont know if we will have any furniture or not but oh well. it leaves plenty of floor space.

Yes they do inspect the cars at the track, but im not sure exactly what they look for other than you have all caps and hoses tired. battery is secure. windows and door locks work. headlights and tail lights, brakes, and basic stuff like that. hide the zip ties or something. or get a new bracket. we have the junk yard down here that sells parts real cheap if worse comes to worse.

Hell yeah sleeping in your car is the best way to go. that way if someone is breaking in you know wtf is going on and you can take them by surprise.

Bitesize, where are you from? Terry and I just did the trip from here to Washington, its not all that bad of a drive. it was a good 7 or 8 hour drive, but we were going slow for the most part. and we did it in two seperate cars. lol. it should be one sweet event and twice as good if tons a 3 gee lovin members show up.
