    Tranny temp gauge install

For all you guys who have rebuilt or pulled apart a manual transmission, is there any place that would be suitable for installing a sending unit for a tranny temp gauge?

Its always good to monitor your tranny temp, more so in auto tranny's then manuals since there are more valves and such in an auto as well as friction clutches unlike a std tranny. Oil in the tranny will break down after long periods of heat and blah blah blah. Personally unless you plan on using the car to tow or doing autocross, I wouldn't bother.

But You asked so I will help. Best bet would be to get an oil temp gauge and figure out how to make an adapter to fit where your tranny oil fill plug goes. Thats the only way I can think of.
