    Law of economics.

The value of any item, is the sum one is willing to pay.
There is always a buyer for any item at any price, but time does have to factor in. How long one can hold an item for any stated price.
If you have the time you should be able to find a buyer.
    Good luck.

Woh, don't want to get banned before you sell it right?

$4,000? Are you on crack? Seriously. Does it have a 5 speed or an auto?
Its worth closer to half that.
I agree with StUpiD8000. A car is not worth much more unless you do countless mods, even then you will take a loss. In Ohio cars like that are a dime a Dozen. I paid $900 for mine stock, and it was not a damn DX.
You will get more money putting the steelies back on and selling the rims seperately.
And why the hell would you strip the steering wheel and seats? Thats the most ghetto thing I have ever heard.

ohh yea the bling bling patrol is here. Why dont you guys just shut up... if you dont like what you see or the price he wants it shouldnt bother you. Some of you guys dont even understand how much money some people have into their accord. Just because your Accord is shit doesnt give you the right to tell him that what he has isnt worth the price he wants.

88lxi68, you have by far the worst looking 3G on this board, next to smokin chronic. But we don't need to get into that again. You can't say anything about mine, or Kroys. Keep that primered looking, steelies accord in the garage so no one laughs at you....

My car is not shit BTW. I have a few grand in it on top of the purchase price. We are just stating opinions here. Its a freakin dx by the way. That means next to no options.

    Bling Bling! 88LXi68's car.

Hey 88LXi68, I think you are saying this to the wrong person. I dont think you realize that Mike put about $15k into his accord, gee he doesnt know anything about putting money into accords And IMO his old accord was the complete opposite of shit. It was probably one of the best accords on this site.

EDIT: OMG I just saw the picture of your car. Your calling his car a piece of shit? I think you just proved my point....

Stop hijacking the mans thread. Jesus Christ let him try to sell his car. And another thing, Mike's car is the shit, but it's not his shit anymore, it's somebody elses' now. And yes that hatch is white trash, but it's his white trash so if he wants to be proud of it let him. My car is ghetto as all hell but I love it nonetheless because it's MINE and it's a 3G. Like Kroy signature says, "Deal with it". You people should stop bickering and follow that peice of advice. Back to the selling. Peace the fuck out.

Amen to that. The only reason I posted the last post was in retaliation to the outbursts.

All Mike and myself did was state our opinion, that a car is rarely worth what is invested in it. We both know that full well, we have both invested thousands into our cars. And for that we get attacked, having our cars called POS's. Mike had one of the slickest 3rd gens around. Mine is the Average Honda, it runs well and is highly reliable. When some people disagree immaturity kicks in and threads turn to crap.

I did a KBB private party estimate and it came back as $1,855. Sure it has a few mods that add to the value. Relisticly $2,500 is the most you are going to get out of it unless you hold out for a long time.
If you want more out of it the best way would be to part out the extras that you still have the original of, like rims, radio, etc... Then put the original parts back on.

A car is worth whatever the seller feels. I believe Mike was asking at one point 7k for his and people told him he wouldnt get it. At that time he wasnt happy with people saying that to him. thats all I am saying.

Wrong! A car is worth what someone else is willing to pay.

BTW, and I know ur going to think im "Tounging Mike's Balls" but there was a possible chance that he could have gotten $7k for his car because he actually has some mods that are worth something, unlike yours that are just basic mods. But he didnt get 7k, and thats just the way the market goes.

All i can say is someone might pay that for his car i think it looked good with the Si wheels on it. Around here a nice or near mint accord with fair miles goes for around $3,000 stock so i dont feel it was outragous. And i hate to say this but steve has more money in his car than a lot of you guys and he actually did follow what he wanted and has a nice swap done that is not all hacked up. I dont know why everyone has to hate on people for trying to sell something that he put time and money into and if you dont like it you didnt have to post.

All i can say is good luck selling it and it you hold out someone will buy it.
