    Angry Freakin hood!

Ok...before I bought my car it was wrecked, nothing major but I think the very front got a little bent out of shape. This has caused major problems with my hood closing. In order for me to get it to close, sometimes I have to do some bending on the latch. After I do that it will work for a while but then eventually it fucks up again. From what I can see the latch is set a little too far back, so I added a few nuts as spacers and it seems to line up better now, I got it to close alright, but now I can't get it back open! If one of you could be so kind as to post a picture of your hood latch so I can get an idea of how it is supposed to sit I would appreciate it. All I know is this is really starting to piss me off, and I have got a huge dent in my hood now from trying to get it closed

    Hope this helps...

Didn't have time to think about better angles. If you need better shots let me know. I'll try and do'em next time I have more time.

    Good luck.

Mine's got some washers behind it as well because of my messed up front end

dayum....mine is really screwed up, the part that bolts to the frame on the top is angled downward, and and it latches to the hood barely enough, should be in the middle I suppose like 89AccordDXHB's. My radiator is also curved in lol, until this I never really noticed how messed up my front end really is. I think I might be better off taking a trip to the junkyard to get new pieces. They are really out of place, you guys think that would work? Thanks sooooo much for the pics, you guys rock
