you should be able to remove the stud.

Yea those are just threaded studs in there.... they can be removed rather easily. I just did this on mine a couple nights ago cuz I snapped the middle two. I used a pipe wrench to break them loose, then put 10mm bolts in there (I used the bolts that hold the trunklid to it's hinges.... perfect length and correct size and threads). Be absolutely sure NOT to drop those little black spacer discs, you need all 4.... very important to how the fuel rail positions when it's bolted down. If you bolt it without those spacers, more than likely fuel will leak right out....fast (trust me, LOL)
