yeah, that aerosal doesn't do very nice things, I've had a bad experience with that too.

That sucks about the problems you're having, are they bad marks?

That is going to look sweet. Mario I know how you feel about the little marks and stuff, its like that little dent in my passager door the if you went looking for it really hard you wouldn't notice it but I just glance at my car and to me it look like it really stands out. Keep the pics coming.

Justin here is that pic of Redding when it snowed.

Looks killer man!!! I'm jealous as all hell...I want to paint my car sooo bad, but alas, no money.

IMHO, you should've done some bondo or filler around the taillights, just to blend them in a bit more than they are. Looks good though man! Keep up the good work!

    Bam Its Like That

    finally its 2:21 AM

    there you haver!!

one custom Gun Metal 3rd Gen. Jigga yeah the trim is still black. I am repainting them with an OEM black we use on all the car that come in the shop. nice slick flat black. and I am getting new bumpers and leaving them black. in sticking with old school.

Bondo and filler doesnt work. I tried it on the last set of tail lights and the tails just stick out too far to really do much with them. although it really helped with trunk rattle.

so im excited now. just gotta let it dry and hopefully start putting shit back together soon. aight been another long day. that wraps it up until the cut and buff which i probably wont be able to do until next week.

oh shit it sweet. Damn you guys did get more snow but hey 6" was still enough to fuck up my car. I was pretty pissed and wet when my exhaust fell off. Then welding it back on was a cold and wet process form all the snow dripping in my face.

Damn that looks slick. I wish I had a garage I could do that in.
What are you planning on for the mirrors, grille and window trim?
Black would look good and match the bumpers

the mirrors are matches. you just cant see them haning up in front of the car. but the got painted also. the trinm and bumpers are staying black. the H emblems wih be black. the hood trim I have to get new peices off an 88. I melted through my last set so I am using a spare set of an 87. they are ugly. I will probably just leave them the clear color unless its horrifically ugly against the gun metal.

thats funny becuase as delano mario and myself where leaving round table pizza, i hit a huge ass puddle(i mean huuuge covered both lanes probably 3 or 4 inches high) doin about 50mph just about took off my heat sheild, messed it up pretty bad, i just took it off, not fun when theres snow packed around it and you dont have any gloves to where. but yea mario your car looks nice i hate you now , (jealousy is a bitch)
    oh shhhii....dont tell anyone

Damn Mario, the car looks just awesome... I love the colour too! ... I am planning on getting the rust cut out of my car, and getting it painted this summer, and I was thinking about sticking with the stock SE-i colour, but maybe I will have to copy you!

Mad props, I think it looks awesome, and I cant wait to see it finished.

Yea Mario told me about that pond in the middle of the road. Well at least I had a warm shop to put my exhaust back on.

Is your front lip, the top part off of a stock bumper? It looks pretty sweet.

yeah it is the top half of an 87 bumper. I am making a new one cause that one is scuffed up pretty good. on a previous attempt to make it I drugg it down the freeway at 65 and then ran over it.

Ha Ha that's hilarious......I knew it looked familiar......that's a clever idea! (not the running over the bumper part, but using it for a lip).....

when you make the new one, you might as well get mor paint, and paint it the same color as the rest of the car . I want to see clean pics of the cae, with both bumpers on . LOOKS MINT MARIO!!!
