    heeeeelll yea boy.
    ima tell u something i had a '90 cougar with a 3.8 v6, basically built strong NOT.
i had that car for about six month's nothing but problem's and never drove it like i drive now.
i have a lxi my brother has a lx.
when i fisrt got mine's it was sitting out front of my friends house for about a year was really driven, needed a tune-up majorly and a new axle , it had 147,000 (now has 155,000) started it up a little miss looked at the engine and told him this car not gonna handle me man. drove it anyway and the car had (even more) get up than the cougar. both car's are bullet proof.
only had a few thing's replaced but alway's started up and niether left us stranded.
there are some guy's on this board that has 3 or 400,000 on the car and still with the orignal engine.
if you jus got it your gonna love it.

Take good care of that engine and I guarantee you it'll last longer than the body (of the car).
