    Quick questions

    will a set of rims from a 97and 99 si fit a 3g?

    Well if you're talking about a prelude then no b/c they would be a 5 bolt. Civic's I don't know about. As long as its a 40mm offset and a 4X100mm bolt pattern.

    any wheel from any newer civic will work on the 3g because they are 4x100. same goes with the integras, except type-r because those are 5 lug.

    i dunno. the accords switched to 4x114 in 90 and stayed the same for that model. The civics/integras are the same and never changed.

    I believe it has something to do with the weight and power of the car... For example all the hondas with stronger heavier motors have a 5 lug such as newer preludes which have h22's/h23's, accords w/ V6's, and teg type-r's and ctr's for the motors produce more power, and then accords after ours became heavier which makes since in producing a lug pattern that is spaced farther.
