it is a little better not having the EGR but to get rid of the code you need to hack the ECU. The is the only way I can figure to get around it so far.
I'm your local R&D nut. Fabracting, welding, tuning and breaking my stuff so you don't have to.

You will get a code on the highway if you don't plug the EGR valve. (EGR lift sensor)Just plug the valve and hide it somewhere.

That's what I was thinking also, that's why I still have a connection for the valve...... Now if it throws a code then I'll hook it up and see what it does from there....

Sorry, the misses put the lock down on me this weekend and I wasn't able to take her out..... Besides, once I do I won't be able to get on it too hard because I have a break in period for this new clutch that I also installed (ACT stage II)..... So hopefully I'll take her out tonight.....

i just want to know which TB you used. if i can use the a20 TB then i will just go to a junkyard and get one. otherwise i will need to find a b16tb... and if i can use the a20 i will bore it out hehehe

is it worth the time and effort, thats all i need to know

Well, I think the break in period for these clutches is like 500 miles but I could be wrong.... As for the TB, you can't use the A20, you have to use the b16 or something compatable to that.... Luckily when I got my mani. everything was still on it.... Plus, the b16 TB's bore is larger than the A20 anyway.... I can tell you this, it's worth it!!! Actually, it's pulling really nice through the power band but like I said, I really haven't gotten on it like I want to and I can already feel a power increase..... I would have already done the write up on this but I've been waiting for something bad to happen because this is too good to be true but so far so good..... :cool2:

excellent. i guess its time to either find a cheap b series aftermarket manifold depeding on price, and a little TB as well!

i think i have all the tools to do this project... so its just a matter of sticktoitivness and elbow grease! hehe
