Preview Of Supra Style Tails

well, since i got all the stuff to make the supra style tails, i pulled the old clear ones apart to start. i got some construction paper and printed out some 3in colored circles. this will give you a ghetto idea of what they are supposed to look like. peep this.

Looks like it will turn out ok. I would make sure one of the circles wraps around so you can see it from the side.

the corner circle isnt going to be visible from the side. thats why im going to make a red side marker thing into the side. already got that planned out.

i think where the amber light is or whatever it should be like clear (like the reverse light) anD just have a yellow bulb or something...just a thought. I also like Kroys idea, i think tHat would make a world of difference in the effect oF everything plus the more original effect.

yeah, i just made a thing to go where the lense was out of paper. just for an idea, not what it will realy look like. ive already cut out the insides of the old tails.

one more thing, the frame that goes around the lense, should i take it off? thats the black plastic around the lense, i thought it might look cleaner with out it and just a clear lense from top to bottom. thats either comming off, or getting painted with black plastic paint. i had to sand the silver paint off, so it looks all rough and needs to be painted. so what y'all think, keep it and paint it, or cut it off?

looks like you should have done some research before you started the project man.....hopefully you can figure this out and get it done good. looks to be a good idea but frenching supra tails would have been hella easier.

heres a pic of my original custom tails i made, but they were illegal so i had to take em off. and what do you mean do some research? whats that all about man. i already researched a long time ago. just wanted some opinions on what looks better with the frame or without.

oh yeah, y'all will be the first people to see em, besides probley my best friend. yeah, now that i got the digi cam, well, its no problem......oh yeah, its not comming along as easy as i thought it would. come to think of it, it wasnt that easy before. its because i have to make one big lense, not just the slim ones to fit as like the orange part. before i also made the whole lense. ive got lots of material, so if i mess up, i guess i can redo. inside might be a bitch. but ive planned something to clean it up.
