i ran 2 lage tower speakers in my Volkwagen wagon... 2 12's 2 mids and 2 tweets... i bridged them to a small amp and ran them off a discman... it was sooo ghetto...

if you can, just get a larger amp and sub... it will sound much better and be alot neater

yah... what kind of house speakers are you talking about? they are usually 8 ohm, so get a small amp and bridge them both, it will make a 4 ohm load... make shur you set the crossover on the amp to FULL so the mids and tweets will play what they are supposed to

i wouldnt waste your time.. those are just MID;s and Tweets.. they wont sound nice at all and produce very little bass...just hook a bigger amp to those little subs in your trunk

i used to have two optimus house speakers with the tweets mids and 15" subs and it sounded pretty good, but was ghetto. I ran them with a 240W pioneer amp and it hit pretty well. Just do whatever man, try it out and if u dont like it, they dont have to stay in the trunk.

Just go get something like some MA audios. They are dirt cheap here. My friend got 3 10s in a box for $200 Canadian NEW!... and they sound good, and pound hard.

You can also get a 12 for like $69. Its nuts, they are cheap, and then you could pick up some cheap amp. Dont waste your time with house speakers.

it'll work in the car but it will usually be an 8 ohm speaker vs car usual 4 ohms. Car amps are also rated at 4 ohms so an 8 ohm load will usually cause your amp to run at 1/2 power. If you have 2 house subs wire them parallel and it will be 4 ohms.
Also house speakers may not last as long, especially if they are in direct sunlight
