    Different 89 ECU?

    Hi!

Somebody has a ECU for my Accord 89 EX-I (CAN model)4 doors manual trans because mine has been water damaged...

The only problem is that the code of the ecu does'nt match...
    Mine is Y-1 37820-PJ0-668
    His is Y-5 36048-PH4-667

The only difference is that his car was a 2 doors... Is it going to work?

    Thx

Thats funny, I got rid of my ecu and it runs better than ever.

You should hook it up to find out for sure.

Hey funny man, your carb does not have an ECU. ur talking about the emission control unit.

Also i have a Y-1 37820 - PJO - 668 Ecu if u want it. but im in New jersey. I stole it from the junk yard.

Alex. Is your car a Coupe? also the ecu for the 86-87 and the 88-89 are different and like we talked before in another thread the Prelude ecu works for you because u got a 86-87 ecu. Im gonna go try and steal a 3rd gen Lude ecu and see if it works.

Okay it came out wrong, BUt your ECU is not the one we are talking about. Technically its not vital for the car to run. But for us Efi's we need the ECU for our cars to run.

But like i said, you are funny :cool2:
