    help, running problem

    my 1988 lxi accord runns funny right now. when it starts from cold it revs up and down in about 300 rpm intervals. when it warms up it idols fine. also, when i hold down the accelerator in neutral and try to hold it at any rpm it does the rame revving thing, in 300 rpm intervals. it sounds like it is revving up and then dieing a little then it just keeps repeating. plz help.

    Well I dunno about you... but my accord doesn't run, it rolls.... but hey.....

    Anyways, I'd say check for vaccuum leak first... mind you I have a carb so vacuum leaks are lethal, whereas you have FI which is a little more forgiving.
