    Looks exactly like mine

It hides your VIN number however... cops might give you a hard time if they find out.

Cops don't normally look for VINs, unless they think you stole the car.

Normally is the key word though...

You don't have that friggin mystery box taking up valuable underhood real estate. I'm slowly working on thinning that bad boy down. I've eliminated three lines already. Anything to clean that bay up.

Speaking of cleaning, that engine bay does need a good deal of washing.

I was told that the MSD ignitions would cause bad interference noise in the radio. Suprisingly it didn't... actually cleaned up the noise that I had already. Radio sounds crisp now

Performance wise, I gained a little bit of much needed low end and the engine is much smoother. All in all a great upgrade.

At 3000 and below they produce multple sparks for 20 degrees of crank rotation, drive more power to the coil and produce more reliable sparks at high RPMs (almsot no chance of missing at high revs). They also make your idle really smooth and improve fuel economy.

Some models have pill adjustable revlimiters and can be outfitted with boxes to accomodate multiple pills for holeshot RPMs.

nice find Sabz. you can relocate your battery to the trunk and place that box in place of the battery. that way it's far from the firewall and should reduce radio interference.

hey 88lxi68, PM me a buildup sheet of that ls/vtec swap. i wanna know how you did it and what parts you had to buy. that's gonna be my summer project. thanks bro.

I have no radio interference. I had a bit of noise before I installed it and now it's nice and clean. Why? I have no idea.

great deal! My MSD is hiding behind the firewall..in that little grill compartment where the wiper blades motors are in. That way less "nature" hits the MSD box prolonging it's life. It's been in there since 1990 and still running.

The yellow wire runs up to the that upper left and then goes behind the firewall. If you take a look at my engine in person, you can see the MSD box throught those little square holes on the top.

Carb certified, they come with the sitckers and everything. They don't effect engine life but you will go through caps and rotors faster espically if you run a hotter coil too.

Yup with my accel 14001 coil I tend to do a cap and rotor every 10k to be safe

um your missing a radiator and going by your paint job I don't think the car is drag only.
I would love to get rid of the damn emissions box and haivng the ignition were the wipper controls are is a pretty good idea but wouldn't it be more exposed to the weather?
I'm your local R&D nut. Fabracting, welding, tuning and breaking my stuff so you don't have to.

It's a special air cooled edition Accord..

At the time I was in the process of putting it the car together, and it will be a daily driver... No drag racing.

I'd love to get rid of the emissions box too, but as of right now I don't have much of an idea how to do it.

If you're picture is showing how your car sits right now I can tell your problem. You gotta hook your coil wire to the blaster coil, not the stock one.

Yea the only way to get rid of the emission box is to go hack the ECU, which takes a lot of expensive programs... SEAN?

No it's running the stock one so I can get the damn thing around. But I did have the MSD coil only and I was getting a spark but the car just wouldn't start. At the time my alternator wasn't doing it's thing either because I made the mistake of powdercoating both brackets for it and didn't realize that it wasn't grounding. So I think that may be the problem but i haven't much time to try the MSD coil again.

hey catalin, nice work on ur car man. I love the paint on ur brackets and valve cover. I would love to get my car painted in that color. What color is it? Dark gray metallic or something? That shit is awsome. I love the look of a clean engine bay and ur motor looks awsome. Good job buddy. props to you.
