    List your boom-boom/etc. setup...

I'd like to see what everyone else has. Post subwoofer(s), amplifier(s), speakers, etc.

    Here's what I got:
Head Unit: Panasonic CQ-DF201U AM/FM/CD (it's crap; waiting for my Eclipse CD8053 deck to get in stock at local car audio shop)
Front Speakers: Alpine 2-way Coaxials (unpowered)
    Back Speakers: Alpine Components (powered)
    Subwoofer: JL Audio 12W3v2
    Sub-Amplifier: Concept CC-1252L, 125 watts x 2 channel, bridged @ 4 ohm
Speaker-Amplifier: some crappy Kenwood amp that I got for free, 50 watts x 2 channel (still better than nothing).

Unfortunately my soundstaging sucks right now... no tweeters installed, poor imaging, and haven't switched my front and back speakers. And now I need sound deadening supplies. Well, it gives me more to work on. Yay.

    Your turn...

    I am insane

head is a Sony MP3 unit, I can't recall the model now, it's the one that turns all black when it's off and it flips down for the controls and to load/unload disk

I just fried the crossover, MTX 3way, so now it's all by the H.U.

Front - 2 Cerwin Vega 6 1/2 each side, need to buy the mids (cooked em!), 1 c.v. tweeter (150 watts!)
Rear - Klipsch Horn Mids and Tweets, fried 1 of my 8" midbasses tho so I need to buy a new pair
Subs- 2 15" Volfenhags (they take 1200 watts a piece but I won't be pushing them that hard)

Amps - a pair of Sony Mobile ES 7554 amps bridged to 8 ohm loads, 1 amp front, 1 amp rear. The bass is handled by an Infinity Digital 300 class D that puts out 1000x1 RMS to the pair of subs wired for 4 ohms

Next comes the DVD/TV combo but I need to buy that still, I have my eye on something that should work out pretty damn good

Are the Volfenhags any good? I was thinking about getting two 10"s becuase they were cheap, but I didn't know anyone who had them. I hear their amps are shite though, know if that's true?

mykwikcoupe, I have no intention of stealing your audio setup. I am intelligent enough not to sink to breaking/entering and theft. Besides, Point 1) I like my setup as it is, thank you. Point 2) I don't know where you live.

Why dont you just get a 6-channel amp and save yourself a lot of space and wiring?

    3 amps is more efficient

Nah, I think I'll keep it this way so the amps wont overload and plus I would probaly need one 2000 watt amp which could be more expensive than these three!!
And I am not talking about those cheap Lanzar ones . And besides, these Audiobahn chrome amps and a high quality kenwood amp makes my setup not only look powerful but play like *THUNDER* and pierce the air like *LIGHTNING*!!!!!!!
Once I get it all done you will not only see this incredible home-made installation but imma have the db tested to see (im mean hear) what I have created

    ....and another thing

And also the more space i see in my trunk the more amps and subs imma cram in there, so saving space is not an option for me. hehehe
