    o2 sensor

Is it common for an O2 sensor to go on a 89 accord? When i drive at a constant speed and hold the accelerator in one spot my car feels like it's quitting off and on and my cousin has a corsica and it was doing that and he changed the O2 sensor and it solved the problem you think this might be my problem?

My car is carb, but would the check engine light still come on,mine isn't but i was looking uder the hood at it and the O2 sensor looks like it's been there since the car was new in 89.

Anyone have any idea how much a sensor would cost in canadian dollars i was told if i buy aftermarket don't buy universal and i also heard the only good after market O2 sensor is boshe.
