Anyone here ever tried swapping newer Accord factory rims with your own rims? Reason being I might get some Honda Factory 16's instead of present factory steel 13's.

As long as the lug pattern is 4X100, you'll be set. I don't think newer Accords will work but Civics and Integras will.
No projects. Life consumes my time and money.
after the 3g, the accords went to a 4x114 pattern, and I think the newer accords use a 5 lug pattern, but don't quote me on that.

Turns out the seller doesn't want to sell them to me after all now! He just found out what they were "Really" worth! Damn!
You are right. The V6 has the 5 lug and the 4cyl has 4x114Originally Posted by 300700'88lx-i
If you want newer OE rims get them of a Teg or Civic.

Visit the junkyard and get some Legend 4x100 rims from the late 80s model. They look nice and are 15in.

Nope... the 86-90 Acura Legend used the 4x114.3 of the newer Accords and Preludes and won't fit our cars (without swapping hubs, of course).Originally Posted by zero.counter

Our accords are 4x100 and a 40 mm offset...so if you find and rim with that pattern you will be fine.
