My 1989 LX Carb. A.K.A. "Hoop Ride" (R.I.P.)
yea i owned a 84 accord lx sedan performance wise i would say it was "decent" not as good as the as say a 86-89 accord carb i mean the 2nd gen accord had a 1.8-liter engine and 86hp so not a lot to bargain with but let me tell u that car was semi powerfull for a 84
These were not mine but I drove them.
83 Accord Hatchie Auto. Slow turd Bucket but damn it kept going and going.
79 Accord, even slower with a 2 seed auto.

I own an 84 LX right now (carb) it's pretty slow. Get spanked by any 90's and newer Civic. I got beat by a 1990 1.5liter Tercel with a 4 speed manual tranny in it. I was beat by a Tracer... I can't recall ever winning... Although I did race a guy in one of those old boxy Civic Si hatches on the freeway and spanked him from 60. Guess its just from stop its slow.
lol yeah those mustangs are pretty weak sauce. Had the same engine as my old Tempo. And god knows how slow the Tempo was...
