as for the battery go pick up some 4gauge or 2gauge wire roughly 20 feet and a battery box (walmart $6.00) and a new ground strap put the box in your trunk where you want it find a place to bolt in your ground oh and pick up 20 feet of 6 to 8 gauge wire , find a place to run your pos gable from the trunk to you starter you will need a battery termenal 2 for $1.99 (walmart) hook it up to the starter then run you 6 to8 gauge from the pos on the fuse block that went to the battery befor to the pos on the battery in the trunk dont forget to fasten down the cables to you underbody you dont want that shit dragging (short out all you shit ) drill a hole in you trunk floor to put you wire through then seal it with silicone i put a hose cover over my cable you shold too.

doing a CAI is not hard as a lot of people think it is. All u need is a 180 degree mandrel bent U pipe from JCWitney for around 11 bux, i got mine for 13 bux shipped to NJ.

Tools u need are just a hacksaw, a market and thats it. If u go to the How-to Section u will see how to make it. I made mine, which means anyone can make it. Paint it with a regular primer and give it a reg body paint or paint it with a high temp paint, its upto you.

Just line it up, choose your placement, draw the line and cut it. Takes about an hour to finish this thing up. and all u need is just two rubber groumets that run around 6 bux total from home depot. and mind u, they are 2" dia and fit perfectly to ur TB.

the filter may be 25 bux to 50 bux depnding on a generic brand or K&N so ur pretty much looking at a min of 45 bux to a max of 70 bux for the whole CAI set up.

As for the battery relocation to the trunk. I would suggest get the 45 bux Battery Relocation kit from Summit and ur worry free. Comes with eveything and pre fab battery reminals and vents and bolts and everything u need.

or u can just move ur battery to the right a little and make sure it does not fall down.

Trust me, u are not the only one who asked this question. Man....... i wish god gave me enough fingers to count them.

you can also go to an exhaust shop and have them bend you some pipe or a local fabractor.

I don't recomed using it but I know some one that used ABS piping to experiment with different pipe sizes to compare the gain/loses.

i guess if it's really that easy i'll just build it, i do have some experience with bending conduit too, but only 1/4-1 1/2 inch, not 2.5 or 3 inch. so i'll just go with the jcwhitney pipe. i'll let you know how it comes out...thanks for the info guys

I hope u are just kidding. PVC emitts toxic gas under high temperature that are reached under hood even under normal operation. They do not reflect heat and they are thermosets that deform under heat. SO no no for PVC or plastic. Ever wonder why the Stock plastic intake is worthless? they radiate heat way tooo much inside em. As to say heat just goes right thru em
