does anyone have a spare a20a1 or a20a3 lying around their garage floor that they are willing to part with for a reasonable amount of $. all i need is the block and head really cuz evrything else on mine works but my block is cracked so i need a new one.

I have one in my garage thats going to be in the scrap yard in a week or so now. Its up for best offer you pay shipping. I shipped a complete B20a with tranny from NY for 175. This engine is just the engine no tranny. It had 115k on it when it was pulled. Its all there minus the PS pump. Let me know if you want it or not
I would look localy for a junked 3G and see what you can get. I have gotten two parts car for under $300 and easy made the money back and I still have many parts left.

i have an a20a1 bottom end in my garage....im keeping the head off of it because it has a new port and polish job, has a rod knocking and i pulled it at 212,000 or so....
