    Wing Mounting?'s

A friend fron work just got an '87 Accord and as already aquired a wing for it. The mounts on the wing itself hangs over the trunk lid by about 1/2 inch. The dirlling points are on the lid however. Her question is how close to the edge of the trunk lid can you drill the mounting holes before it makes things too weak. Also one of the holes will have the wiring running threw it for the break lights mounted on the wing. Could this cause a problem being so close to the edge?

no, its a fiberglass one that looks similer to the evo wing with out the center suports. Sitting on the car it looks good and almost like it belongs on the car

hmm.... that shouldn't be too bad then. my guess is you'll prob have to just drill a few holes, mount the wing, then seal around the area somehow.
