Yeah its been like that since we went to the new format. I can type in several words off a post and it won't find them if they're in general. SO yeah our search sucks
I thought it was just me. I searched for some of my old posts and could not find them that way.

I thought it was just me too. Do you think that some of the old threads were deleted? I even type in the exact name of the thread and it still cant find it.

they are there still, its just that the search function sucks. I had to scroll through page after page to find some things but I found them. The new search feature since the upgrade is just pathetic thats all

It seems as though VB3 is lacking the search capabilities that the previous VB software obtained. It is my understanding that until an upgrade is presented for this we will have to deal with the current features that VB3 is offering. Sorry guys, I don't know what else to say...
VB3 was a major upgrade for us but it did come with some temporary bugs as most new software unfortunately has.

It's case sensitive right... and it has that 4 letter word limitation.

Yea I noticed the differences so you pretty much have to be carefull what you ask for and try to word it differently.

I've started re-indexing the search engine, which basically goes through every post and logs it into the search engine.
The process is intensive, so it should last into the wee hours of the night. If the search is still unsatisfactory, then there really is nothing we can do.

When you search select "show results as" "POSTS"
That makes it easier
