    Welding exhaust components?

    Quick question to the welder guys on here... I can get my hands on a 100 amp wire welder for a couple of days, would this be good for welding up exhaust components? Specifically I'm welding flanges to my catalytic converter because most shops won't touch the thing Is it safe to use this welder for the work I'm doing or should I look elsewhere?
